What is Proof?
There are two types of documentation you can publish in ProofPort: Proof of Compliance (a.k.a. "Proof") and Supporting Data (data that supports the compliance status of a Solution, but is not in itself Proof of Compliance).
How do I publish a piece of Proof?
Once you have published your Company Profile and at least one Solution Profile, your Publishing Page will allow you to publish a piece of Proof or Supporting Data.
- First, go to your Publishing Page and, at the bottom of the page, click the green "Add New Proof" button.
- Next, you will be asked to fill in a form of information about your piece of Proof or Supporting Data - this is the data ProofPort users will gain access to when the collect this piece of proof.
- Next, simply click "Create and Publish Now" to publish your Proof or Supporting data to the correct Solution Profile. Or, if you want to wait before publishing, click "Save New Proof and Exit" to save your progress.
Note: Be sure to publish a Solution before you publish Proof or Supporting Data for that Solution; on the Proof form you fill out for publishing, you will need to select the Solution the Proof relates to, so it can be published on the correct Solution Profile.
Note: **Public Proof or Supporting Data can be collected by anyone with a ProofPort account. When Proof or Supporting Data is "By Agreement", if someone wishes to collect it, they must first sign an Agreement with the Provider of the Solution the Proof or Supporting Data belongs to.
